Northeast China’s Endangered Species

There are more than 1,400 species on the China “List”, 52 of which are endemic and 87 of which are classified as “Vulnerable”, “Endangered” or “Critically Endangered”.

There are a few endangered species that either breed in Beijing or use the capital on migration and, about which, little is known.  This page provides updated information about these difficult-to-see species.  Comments and correspondence are invited from anyone who can add to the information contained in these pages.  Please click on the links below to read more…
