Just back from two weeks in Yunnan Province on the OBC fundraiser trip led by Jesper Hornskov. Some fantastic forests and river valleys, many of which are not easily accessible and rarely visited. Subsequently we saw some top birds including Pallas’s Fish Eagle, Nepal House Martin, Wedge-billed Wren Babbler, four species of Forktail (Slaty-backed, Black-backed, Spotted and Little), Wire-tailed Swallow, Ibisbill, Collared Treepie, Spot-winged Grosbeak, Vinaceous Rosefinch and many many more.
