Just back from 10 days on Palawan, a stunning island in the west of the Philippine archipeligo and north of Borneo. It wasn’t a birding holiday but my holiday companions (my wife and two friends – John and Sarah Gallagher) humoured me by allowing me to drag them through the steaming jungle and on the water to see some of the island’s wealth of wildlife.
